      Comments are restricted to matters within the Board's jurisdiction. Each person is usually granted time to speak at the discretion of the the Chair. Any additional public comments will be heard at the conclusion of the meeting. While members of the public are welcome to address the Board, under the Brown Act, Board members may not deliberate or take action on items not on the agenda.

Open Meetings: Except as expressly authorized under the Brown Act, all meetings of the EDC are open to attendance by interested members of the public. Public Comment: The EDC invites comment from the public on issues under consideration and other issues worthy of consideration. Written comment is preferred in all cases, especially to suggest new issues. Comments should be provided to the EDC office at least 10 days before the EDC meeting in order to be distributed to EDC Members with agenda materials. Oral comment on an EDC agenda topic will be allowed during a 10-minute period during the EDC meeting.
