Depending on your goals for your food truck business, you will be required to apply for different permits based.

🚚 Mobile Food Trucks

Mobile food trucks only stay in one location for an hour or less. They are able to cater private events and set up at organized community events, such as:

  • Flea markets
  • Farmer's markets
  • Fairs

🏠 Stationary Food Trucks

Stationary food trucks stay in one location a majority of the time (1+ hours). They require extra permits depending on location and if they want to participate in community events.

Stationary food trucks require a use permit, issued through Permit Sonoma. They also require a signed restroom agreement with the property/ies they are parked at.
