2018 Sonoma County Restaurant Week Launches
Santa Rosa,CA | February 23, 2018
Sonoma County Restaurant Week, the tastiest time of the year, will be held from March 2nd – 11th and will feature a wide variety of restaurants and culinary options that feature local ingredients at great prices. This year’s presenting sponsors include the Sonoma County Economic Development Board and the Press Democrat.
For the first time ever, Sonoma County Restaurant Week stretches a full 10 delicious days. This addition gives patrons even more chances to take advantage of the great Restaurant Week deals and unique, one-time menus. We are making a special effort this year to support our local restaurants who stepped up to provide meals for first responders during the October wildfires and who need your patronage to support our recovery efforts.
“Restaurant Week has become an annual celebration of our incredible local restaurants throughout the County,” said EDB Executive Director Ben Stone. “Last year’s Sonoma County Restaurant Week brought in $3.43 million for Sonoma County, and participating restaurants and diners were thrilled with their experience.”
Sonoma County Restaurant Week 2018 will be the 9th year of celebrating Sonoma County’s unique array of restaurants, including world class farm to table options and local favorites. There are 150 restaurants already signed up to participate, so restaurant goers have even more opportunities to taste Sonoma County cuisine.
Featuring locally sourced produce, meats, seafood, and herbs, the event is offering three-course, prix-fixe dinner menus for $19, $29, or $39. The two-course, prix-fixe lunch menus are available for $10 or $15.
Restaurant Week is designed to bolster the economic vitality of Sonoma County. The emphasis on farm-fresh food, local wineries and craft beverages during Restaurant Week ensures that the impact of the event extends to local food suppliers, farmers, wineries and craft beverage producers in addition to the restaurant industry.
No tickets or passes are required; just visit www.SonomaCounty.com/Restaurant-Week and plan your culinary road map through nearly 20 communities. Post photos of your food adventures on Facebook and Instagram, using the hashtag #DineSoCo to be entered to win dining certificates from participating restaurants.
Menus for the participating restaurants can be found at www.sonomacounty.com/restaurant-week with more being added every day. Don’t miss out on Sonoma County’s most delicious week of the year.
